The adventure began in 1978 with the creation of the ASBL “Projets-Rencontres. Le Bateau Ivre”.

The goal was to promote, create and manage all types of services that could provide minors and their families with the specialised help defined by the Youth Aid and thus meet the real needs of young people in need. Respect for the individual was its constant concern.

The members of the association (pluralist), engaged in various sectors (youth aid, public health, education, teaching, etc.) pooled together their experiences, wanting the ASBL to be a place for meetings, exchanges, reflection and action.

A project was then developed: the residential home or Maison d’Acceuil.

It welcomed 17 young people, boys and girls, from 18 months to 18 years old. the statutes of the ASBL
